I am on couchsurfing because I like the experience to get to know lokal people rather then just tourists when I am traveling. Couchsurfing makes it much easyer to get to know cultural aspects in the country I am traveling in. An other reaseon is certainly that I like to travel simple without big luxuries and most of all most of my best travel experiences had started with Couchsurfing
