Hey you! I'm Laura, a 22-year-old student from Bruges, but studying and living in Brussels, Belgium. I'm an outgoing person although I can also be quite lazy. Lazy, meaning that I could stay inside all day to watch a series or doing random things while listening to some music. And hell, who doesn't love sleeping? When I'm not sleeping I enjoy events like music festivals, concerts, theatre, musicals, dance performances, parties ... or simply a get-together with some friends in a café or at home and cook and drink together. I wouldn't describe myself as a nerd, but I have definitly some nerd characteristics as I have a passion for board games. I'm a creative person, but not in a 'plastic' sense. I make terrible drawings or paintings, comparable to Mr. Beans drawing skills in the movie 'Bean'. I express myself in writing and developing concepts for television. I'm also a food person. Lots. Of. Food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've wanted to join couchsurfing for quite some time. I think it can be a great way to meet people and visiting new places authentically. Also, I want to start travelling more by myself, so I think couchsurfing is the best way to do this.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play the guitar and speak Dutch or Spanish, but also how to get lost in a city even though you have a map and/or internet.
I'd like to learn all about other cultures, but also how to NOT get lost in a city having a map and/or internet.
I'd like to share food and stories with new and fun people!
