Alooo, it's Rubén!

After many years of hard study, I managed to finish my PhD in physics.

I'm an extrovert and easy-going person with attitude for meeting new people and try new and crazy things. I don't like too much organization when traveling, I prefer to leave some room for surprise and improvisation. I guess this is why I appreciate CS so much.

For me CS is nothing related to saving money and I consider it as an excellent tool for meeting interesting people and discovering the places I visit through the eyes of the locals.

CS makes the difference. No matters the destination, when you have a nice CS experience any destination is worth it and you keep nice memories from that place. In a world in which tourism has become artificial, I believe in CS as the true tool for approaching a culture when traveling. Definetely, CS keeps it real.

兴趣

I enjoy learning about the world, this is why I love traveling, even if I don't do it as often as I would like to. I like discovering fun facts and I wish I could keep them all in mind. When I travel somewhere, I consider cuisine a fundamental element of the place, and for me to like this place, cuisine must be good enough.

Break dancing is my passion and my source of creativity. Right now I'm getting involved in salsa and bachata as well, which allow me to enjoy the social part of dancing.

I love animals and above all, I love observing them in nature. When that happens by chance I feel blessed and happy.

I listen to almost any type of music. Some examples are John Frusciante, Muse, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Jamiroquai, Bonobo, Daft Punk. I used to like the Red Hot Chili Peppers but I got a bit tired of them :/.My favorite Italian singer Mannarino. From Spain I like Sen Senra, Kase.o (best rapper of history), Iseo and Dodosound are incredibly fresh, Locoplaya, Don Patricio, Bejo sound really cool.

Books about dystopia: blade runner, 1984, A brave new world...

Movies about mafia, Stanley Kubrick, Scorsese, Lord of the Rings. I don't like superhero movies, above all I don't like Marvel movies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did an Erasmus year in Italy. I was there the whole year living with 6 Italian girls and a cat, and enjoying the italian culture. I met a lot of amazing people who i'm still in touch with. Erasmus of course changed my life and opened my mind a lot.
