About Me
I'm a professional translator (English Portuguese) with a background in literature, music and computing. I love being on the road.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love discovering new places and I feel that having contact with people who actually know the place is great. I also love sharing the places I know with people who have never been there. I think that is a great way to form new friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a rock, folk and blues guy, but I listen to everything depending on the situation.
I love movies and books with a passion and could spend hours exchanging suggestions and comments and criticism for pretty much every genre and period, even if it is "not really my type of thing, oh well." My favorite authors are Hemingway, Hesse and Huxley (not only because they all start with an H).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to think of things I've done as "amazing," to me they are either all amazing or all normal. But there was one time that I went almost 60 hours straight without sleeping due to a combination of music festivals and parties and family gatherings (and then slept for 16 hours after).
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Guitar, English and Portuguese
Learn: Local songs (on the guitar, of course), local languages
Share: So many, many stories. I can also play some music if you have a guitar available.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Other than playing the guitar and talking, I can prepare Brazilian drinks and cook a little, but nothing really noteworthy.
