Overview
About Me
I'm a chemisty student from Rijeka, Croatia, living in a small town nearby. I study in the capital, Zagreb. I speak, besides Croatian, English and Italian. I also know the basics of French.
I start feeling bored if I spend too much time on the same place. That's why I enjoy travelling and meeting new cultures and people. I haven't had too many opportunities so far so I have a lot to catch up :)
I love going out, having a few drinks and meeting all kinds of interesting people.
I'm also a great fan of beer. I'm still gaining knowledge, but I've already tried quite a few. If I find some time I'd really like to try home-brewing.
I love basically all the sports, even though I won't be too good in all of them. If there's an opportunity to go hiking somewhere I'd be delighted. At the moment I'm training diving.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel like you can get to know the place you're about to visit only if you spend time with the locals, which isn't easy if you're staying in a hotel. That's where couchsurfing comes along giving you a perfect opportunity to see the city from the inside. Besides that, as a student I don't have a proper budget yet and I can't really afford some luxury.
Interests
In my free time I love hiking, skiing, cycling and playing guitar.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to EDM mostly, but I enjoy various genres of music. There aren't some specific movies or books I'd like to stress out, but I can say I'm a great fan of the series Futurama and The Office (US).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will definitely thank them for the hospitality by offering them some of the most delicious Croatian sweets. Besides that, I can tell them about the Croatian culture and lifestyle. I'm a chatty person so hopefully they won't be bored while having me as a guest. If they have a guitar at home we could also sing a bit :)
