About Me
Hey! Did a fair bit of travelling last year and keen to return the favours.
Currently living in Brighton and working hard as a producer at a pretty fascinating, socially minded tech company. My work is a big deal at the moment though I also make time for friends, amateur dramatics, hiking and gaming.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Love a spot of French Techno, as well as having been a proper 90s indie fan and then an early 2000s new metal fan!
A handful of films that have wowed me include No Country for Old Men, The Raid (I love a bit of martial arts) and some 80s classics like Ghostbusters and Back to the Future. I also have a guilty soft spot for the first Transformers film. I want Optimus Prime for a Dad.
Books. Enormous fan of Wuthering Heights and adore Stephen King's Dark Tower series. But perhaps my favourite ever books are Dune, and Watership Down. The last manages to be one of the most harrowing and brutal books I've read and also about bunnies.
Favourite author is Kazuo Ishiguru. Fabulous.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked 102 kilometres IN ONE GO.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a published author on gaming addiction, lecture on subjects of game design, mental health and disability and have 7 years of studying philosophy... So plenty to discuss!
I've spent the last 10 years working with mental illness and, in amongst that been a game designer and management consultant.
I'm currently writing a book about manhood, which needs a lot of perspectives (from all genders!) so be great to talk!
What I Can Share with Hosts
So here's an easy one ENGLISH! I'm English, and English is one of the few things that we English are good at. Very happy to help you sharpen your language skills!
I'm a very mediocre, maybe even bad cook, I'll warn you now! But I have much to discuss about my work, may have a role for you in my writing and would be very happy to share a drink and a meal with you. If philosophy interests you, then I would be honoured to show you some of the more crazy theories about the universe!
