Overview
About Me
I'm a relaxed, sincere and easy going person. I'm curious about people, places, history, present and figuring out the way to go next.
Easy choices: I prefer outdoor sports to a gym; a friends gathering for some laughs and conversation than a night out at the club; fail trying vs not trying at all; say/ear a truth than fake protection with a lie.
I always let my heart take all the important decisions but try not to make long lasting plans as everything changes, including me. What doesn't change is the true love for my girlfriend Iris, the sunlight from my mom Rosa and my continous discovery of myself and what's around me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The beauty of traveling is the discovery. Arriving somewhere I've never been always fills me with curiosity and wonder, always makes me imagine what would be to live there, to grow up in those streets, to share the same history, to enjoy the local food, to hang out with life long friends in our favourite spots, in one sentence: to be part of the place.
The places I've most enjoyed to travel always were the ones where I stayed at a friend's home that lived there. Why not open my home to give back what I've been so fortunate to receive? And why not make new friends while at it? Perfect! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Music! (almost) Everything! From the Jamiroquai acid jazz grooves to Eric Burdon & War's "Tobacco Road", to Fat Freddy's Drop eletronic reggae, to Earth Wind & Fire, to Gotan Project's argentinian tango, to Wu Tang Clan words and beats, to deep house head banging to Portuguese Fado. Love it all!
Movies and books come in second place but I preety much like everything with a good story that grabs you from start, not corny and preferably with some twists in the middle ;) Not a big fan of perfect happy endings. Ah, crazy about documentaries - history, conspiracy theories, sports, human behaviour... you name it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most recent one: left my job, gave a big part of my belongins, said goodbye to our house and departed with Iris on a journey of discovery in Southeast Asia and, more important, into ourselves :)
