About Me

Hi, I'm a 25 year old student from germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I am a man of many talents - meeting people is definitely not one of them. So couchsurfing could be pretty handy. And it saves money! Win-Win

Interests

I'm interested in almost everything I am interested in, mainly history, philosophy and some other stuff. I'm not that interested in soccer or car races. I'd probably be quite interested in movies and tv series, if I watched any. But I don't. It's all books, youtube and imternet for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my main hobbies is walking around and listening to podcasts and audio books, mainly about philosophy, history and sometimes something else. I also download the audio tracks from youtube videos to listen to on the go. Oh and I also read Thinking Fast, Thinking Slow by Kahneman a while ago.

I've read a lot of swords and sorcery fantasy in the past, but right now, I'm just keeping up with two web serials (Ward by Wildbow and A Practical Guide to Evil by ErraticErrata), a few fanfics and some of r/mangas favorites.

Never got into the habit of watching movies. Not that I don't enjoy them, I just never got into the habit. Same with TV series.

As for music, I very occasionally listen to classical music (my mothers a music teacher, so I'm familiar with the songs, even if I don't know them) and there are a few Indie musicians I like, namely Heather Dale and (relatively newly) Frederika Stahl and S. J. Tucker. But I don't spend all that much time listening to music period.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Followed the 'do not follow' foot trail up a mountain in a foreign country, the trail died out after a few hours, I took another trail in the right direction, it was overgrown with vines and I actually had to squat down and sloooowly let myself slide beneath the vines and! I came back alive.
