About Me

I am the kind of person who wanna travel to everywhere and visit different places is one of the things that I would love to do for all my life, because a new culture, new friends, new ways of life and beliefs are really important to let us know ourselves
I consider that I am really friendly, sometimes shy when I do not know everything but I try to get everything really fast so I am outgoing and really easygoing. I believe that I do not know a lot of things so I have an open mind to learn from everybody but I try to always have an opinion considering different points of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have know the page recently and maybe you could think that I do not know how to stay with a host; maybe you are not wrong, but one of the things that I love to do is volunteiring, I travel inside Peru as part of volunteer programs and I stayed with different local people, who teach me different things, things that I never have met if they would not tell me, that is why I consider that if someone really want to know a place, it has to know it through meeting local people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent two months in peruvian jungle voluntiering in three native comunities; we work with them developing a proyect of sustainable management with forest and other resources. There, was the place where I discover that key point for life is to be happy with every little thing that you have in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of the things that I have learned when I started traveling abroad, was that when you leave your country, you are a embasssador; so when I got back I tried to learn more about my culture.
Now, I can tell you all my trips inside Peru and how we are different; we have a lot of culture and Peru is really diverse, we have over 100 different languages and we have over 4000 types of potatos (JK, but it is true).
And sometimes, people asked me, if in Peru we speak quechua; the answer is we do not; but now we are trying enhace it, so that I am trying to learn the language, so if you want, I can teach some words and words of another native languages too; as cocame, shipibo and others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a good company, good times together and more important a good dialogue. Something else I am a good cooker, so if you want to try peruvian dishes we can try to make something; do not worry for the different things that we do not have here; there are always a way to figure out.
