Overview
About Me
I'm a 20-year-old girl who decided to take a gap year from university and travel. Currently I'm working in a hotel in Norway to earn some spare. I decided to travel through Workaway as a volunteer and mostly in France, south of France in particular. Because I love France and want to get some serious (and fun) language practice. But I have also never been to Paris so before and after my workawaying I will do that and explore the city. So meeting some locals for tips would be really amazing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love to meet new people. And I'm also a student so it goes without saying I'm always looking for the cheapest ways for anything. But life has taught me that often the cheapest ways are also the most exciting and adventurous ones. And I'm sure Couchsurfing is a good platform for all that = )

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is something really important in my life and I listen to all kinds of genres, but mostly it may be something indie, something rock. And I also sometimes listen to old French chansons and some Spanish-Latino-something music. I really love Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Allah-Las, Devendra Banhart, Radiohead, Frederic Chopin, Lana Del Rey... (nice switching I know). But anyway you can look me up on Spotify if any special interest!
For movies, there are a lot of good movies I still haven't seen but are on my watchlist. But some favourites are Amélie, American Beauty, Dans La Maison, The King's Speech, Intouchables, La Vita e Bella, Moonrise Kingdom, Four Weddings and a Funeral and some Estonian movies. And I'm in love with BBC's "Sherlock".
And favourite books so far are "The Master and Margarita", "100 years of solitude", "The 40 rules of love" and the creation of E.M.Remarque.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked barefoot through Prague. I know it's not so amazing, but it was the first thing to cross my mind besides my Norway adventures, but going up a mountain or a glacier is quite basic in Norway. And well, I also once pretended I was British at a party and everyone who didn't know me actually bought it. There are a lot of things... but it's a long walk down the memory lane.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm... Does it mean what I can teach and share? Well, I could help with math or English or Russian (...) or teach some piano or guitar... Bake one of the best cakes in the world. Share all the stories I have. And I also love to listen to all kinds of stories and experiences and have all sorts of discussions. And I love to dance, I love to go out, I'm really a night person. And I'm thinking of starting a band when I go back home so I'm always into jamming!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My music, my stories, my sense of humour, which I cannot stop. I'm always in for a good laugh (but my jokes probably won't make you laugh out loud, just me).
