About Me

My mother taught me values and that is why I learned to be a respectful and honest man. I am very clean and tidy! don't be surprised if you see me cleaning your room :). I currently live with my girlfriend and my 2 dogs in Guatemala (city). I am an artist who decided to merge with the system to survive, but art lives in my soul! I love to enjoy a good movie, a good conversation with real people, I love electronic music, (however, I listen to all kinds of music :) I believe that everything has its moment and that a positive mindset is a way of life! Also, remember that mutual respect is the key that opens many doors. I am currently planning my first Euro trip for 30 days and I am more than ready to meet some amazing people! It really is the trip of my life, the one I will always remember. I really hope you can be a part of this! Much love and respect to all of you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I firmly believe that human connection is one of the best ways to learn and experience culture. I also believe that “we are electromagnetic beings and we attract what we are”. who knows, maybe we met in a past life and have a chance to meet again :) Please note this is just an introspective though lol :)

Interests

meet amazing people, go for a walk together, have a coffee, a beer or just a good conversation. Really open minded, I love parties but also tranquility and nature, museums, gardens and all that the new country has to offer!

Music, Movies, and Books

LOVE IT : los renglones torcidos de Dios Book by Torcuato Luca de Ten. Padre Rico padre pobre by Robert Kiyosaki and also hábitos atómicos by James Clare ( all the books can be found in your own mother tongue , give them a try). Love all types of music (don’t label yourself ;) and I love a good movie , classics , horror movies , thrillers, etc)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Guatemala has 22 departments (currently visited 15). I traveled from Guatemala to Costa Rica with just a backpack and my art. Working for almost 7 years and currently fighting the system to be financially free ( any advices are more than welcome) .

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a sales and retention representative for a Canadian company called TELUS International, however we are fighting very hard to be financially free! Currently learning German at the European Academy (Guatemala). I love real estate and I think that for me, the only way to escape from this system and be able to have my own business. We really believe in human potential, of course, if we really work on ourselves every day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope we can share experiences, information like places to visit, tips about your area, etc. This goes both ways, we know everything you need to know to have the best trip in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica! We speak English, Spanish and ein bisschen Deutsch, so we can also share about our mother tongue! Planning to be out all day to visit places so I won't be a bother :) maybe you can join me (we'd love to).
