Overview
About Me
I find quite hard to talk about myself, but I'll try my best to summarise my life.
People describe me as quiet or shy when they just meet me, but as soon as they get to know me they can tell that I'm not shy at all, I could even say, I can be quite fun at times!
I'm a very good observer, very creative guy who can easily find a subject to chat to people from 12 to 120 years old.
I'm a big fan of travelling and going out, although for some reason I am only entering on CS this year (2016).
I always feel a bit adventurous but due to many cirscumstances I've always be doing the trivial which is finishing school, starting university, finding a job, trying to settle down etc.
In this current year, since I quit my job I expect to release this adventurous Gustavo from inside of me!
Soon I'll be living in Spain for a short period and then studying in Scotland for about 1,5 years, I am looking forward it!
By the way, I play piano since I was a young child (5 years old), in this way, it would be nice to share some experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of mine has told me how great is to travel hanging out with locals. He was describing to me his experiences, things and place he's been with couchsurfers who he had either hosted of surfed with.
Since then I really wanted to open up my account. In this current year as I will have more free time and will be living in Europe, I really expect to use CS in my trips, and I also accommodate some cool travallers as soon I settle in.

Teach, Learn, Share
I speak and write English at a good level, as I have lived in the US, but now as I'm going to start a Masters in Edinburgh I feel I need to practice my English a little more and specially, to get used to Scottish accent.
I can help you with Portuguese, in case you are learning it.
I know many random things that I would like to share with my future CS buddies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experiences, nice time going out in a pub or bar and I may even try to cook, but I can tell I'm not the best cook.
So maybe I invite you for a drink instead!
