About Me

Hello CouchSurfers!!
I'm a young girl from Barcelona looking for friends abroad! As many of you, my passion is to travel and to know as many things as possible from our wonderful world. I love to know and experiment new dfferent cultures, learn new languages and get to understand other's people view of the world. I consider myself to be a very open-minded and honest person, who always takes care of her friends. Along with travelling, my favourite thing to do in the world is to write: short stories, diaries, reviews, and even novels (if I ever get to finish it ;P). I'm also very keen on reading, listening to and playing music, and volunteer to give the best out of myself! I'm interested on environmental issues (I'm a vegetarian myself), humanitarian projects, gender equality, social justice...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in CouchSurfing to meet new ineresting people and learn a lot from them, as well as offering them anything I can :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music genres are hard rock (and actually all r'n'r variables), punk, jazz, classical, indie, and pretty much all music that is good (not reggeaton haha).

Among my most loved music bands are Guns'n'Roses, Aerosmith, The Ramones, Wolfmother, Soundgarden, Manic Street Preachers, Queen, Pearl Jam, Bowie, Silverchair, The Used, Arctic Monkeys, Sex Pistols, Slaves, Dylan, RHCP, Jane's Addiction, Radiohead, Muse, The Vines, The Vintage Caravan, The Velvet Underground, and a big ETC.

My all time favourite book is The Catcher in the Rye, I feel myself identified with pretty much every phrase of that awesome work of art. I also love all the books by Irvine Welsh, Betty Smith, John Boyne, Zafón, Kundera and many others.

I adore Zdzisław Beksínski, to me one of the best painters of our era.

I'm passionate about alternative indie movies that make you think instead of disconnect...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month volunteering on a turtle conservation sanctuary in a little Indonesian Island called Nusa Penida.... I washed a turtle two times bigger than myself!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach my fabulous mother language (Catalan) and stories about my homeland and culture to anyone who would like to know it beyond stereotypes. I can also teach you some stupid facts and curiosities that my mind has been storing all my life somehow. I am a very good listener, and possibly share a lot of interests with you, since I'm interested in all kinds of human knowledge.
I'm learning how to play electric guitar and know a few songs on piano, so I can also share the lousy chords I know by the moment and I'm eager to learn whatever you have to teach me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you my insatiable wanderlust and pretty much everything. I love to do new things and meet people with backgrounds as different as possible from mine. Even if I cannot offer my couch right now, I am willing to offer you tours around not touristic places in Barcelona, share some beers or whatever!
