Hello future friend! I am a 21 years old Spanish girl currently studying Business Administration at the univeristy.

As well as a student I am a chocolate lover, a hopeless enthusiast and a strong idealist (the world can change for the better, I know it!)

I am outgoing and love meeting new people, which always leads to learning about different cultures and points of view. When travelling you will never go to sleep without having learned something new!

This is my third year at the university and I am going to be doing an exchange in the Netherlands (Groningen) until July. I would like to take advantage of the geographical situation of this country and travel as much as my studies (and savings) allow me. As my city in Spain is far away from the airport and travelling abroad from my home can be a bit complicated this an opportunity that I can't miss.

My motto: Never say "no" to a plan. You will never know how many things you can miss because of fear or indecision, so do not think it twice! Grab your backpack and let the adventure begin.

To know the place I am visiting from a locals's point of view and experience a new culture from the inside while saving some euros of my small budget.

I also want to force myself out of my comfort zone and make the most of each trip.

I think many of the good places that you can visit in a new city don't appear in a guidebook, and a host can be the person who gives you the best advice or even a nice adventure mate.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: I like pop, rock and indie.
I like groups like Queen, The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Green Day, Of Monsters and Men... and one of my favourite songs is "Space Oddity", by David Bowie.
In general I like music from the 80's and what in Spain was called "la movida madrileña" (a cultural movement born in Spain during the transition to democracy).

Movies: I am not a person who can be defined as cinephile but I enjoy watching a film with friends and a big bowl of popcorn.

Books: I have always liked reading and time flies by when I have a book in my hands. I like fantasy books as well as those which make you think although they can seem for children, like "Animal Farm" and "Le petir Prince".

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I enjoy a lot learning about other countries, cultures and languages, so practising my English or French or learning a little bit of a new language while meeting new people and discovering the world seems like a perfect plan for me.

I would love teaching my future host a little about my culture and country and sharing our travelling experiences and anecdotes.
