I was born in Russia, Moscow :) and when I was 2 years old, my family relocated to South Africa where I had the pleasure to grow up and immerse myself in this country. I can certainly call myself a South African, in fact, I don't feel Russian and I don't know the language all that well either but not a day goes by that i'm not grateful for having this different life. At this moment I am in Moscow teaching English. In 2015, I decided I needed to start my dream life of travel and the first place I wanted to see was my home country. I have been here for almost a year and I have enjoyed every moment of my journey here.
I am a happy go lucky girl. I enjoy simplicity and nature. I'm generally a happy and positive person, always finding the light side of things and I believe that being open minded has been a blessing to my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My dream has always been to travel the world and see as many beautiful places as possible, learn new cultures and meet amazing different people. I believe couchsurfing is a perfect way to do so. While travelling, I can meet like-minded people, learn form them and share memories whilst living my dream. Couchsurfing is a great way to connect people from all around the world and allow us to experience a variety of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE music with every inch of my soul :) I would say that my music taste vastly varies. I enjoy rock, jazz, trance, punk, blues, folk, classical, mellow, acoustic..In fact the list is endless. Some of my favorite groups and artists are Breaking Benjamin, Frank Sinatra, BB King, 21 Pilots, State Radio, Muse, Jason Mraz, Milky Chance, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley and many more and of course I love the oldies and funky swing too :).
I enjoy watching films and i'm open to all genres, my favorites being horrors, documentaries, dramas and comedies. Some of my favorite films are Mr Nobody, Beautiful mind, The theory of Everything, Half Baked, Grandmas boy .
I love reading! My favourite author is Jodi Picoult. I have a few that really captured my interest such as "The Pact", "Lolita" and "Many lives many masters"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I suppose the most amazing thing I have ever done was to make my first leap into travel. I had been thinking about it for years and due to many complications in South Africa, I was never able to make my dream come true. Eventually after years of attempts, hardship and many disappointments, a miracle happened and all the difficulties that I had endured fell away and my dream was at my fingertips. Once I received my travel passport I was on my way to Russia, Moscow and thus began my journey into the life I had always dreamed about. I now know that no matter how things may seem, there is always something better around the corner and everything that we want in life will be, if we just persist and believe. I have never been happier and i'm looking forward to couchsurfing and seeing more of this beautiful world

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an English teacher so I am always happy to share my knowledge of the language and encourage people to be the best they can be. I have a specific outlook on life and I believe that everyone has a certain path in life, one that grows with every new lesson that we learn. I want to be apart of of peoples lives, share my lessons and learn from others. In this life we need to work together, be one and embrace one another as a family. Lets live and learn, travel and immerse in different cultures and make a change in this life for the goodness or our species and mother earth

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am ready to share my life story with hosts, share the knowledge I have gained throughout my life, my views and my positive outlook. I love nature and I believe we should all take care of our mother earth, I want to spread the word and be able to make a difference everywhere I go.
