About Me

I'm a Sierra Leonean by Nationality, and also a very social person. My communication skills have helped me to make sound and vibrant friends since high school. I'm still working on improving my skills towards humanity. "Love for all and hatred for none". I have much respect especially for women around the world. I'm simple, honest and reliable in every aspect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to learn and acquire new experience. To meet with different people around the world, especially with locals. To obtain a better picture of life, to know about different types of traditions around the world and I'm very optimistic that with this platform, i will be able to grasp a better understanding of the world and what it means. Below are my reasons for joining CS.

1. Group Goals: I am highly motivated to join CS simply because of the theme=(Meet and Stay with Locals All Over the World). Traveling the world, hosting travelers, or making friends locally, being a conscientious and generous Couchsurfer will enrich the connections you make with the people you meet. It Help make the world smaller and friendlier. Spend time with your host or surfer. Make new friends and help each other discover new things about the world.

2. Make new friends: Once we graduate from school, we all know how hard it is to get out and meet new people and make a new friend! Use professional networking groups as an opportunity to escape the norm and meet new people that may give you a reason to come out of your shell a bit more and have fun.

3. To be Inspired and Stay Motivated: Humans are highly social beings with a strong need for belonging. Without connecting to a bigger group a person can feel lost, disconnected and alone. Loneliness is one of the very unpleasant emotions a human can experience and because of that humans always try to make sure they are a part of a social group, in which i strongly believe that being a member of CS will keep me inspired and stay Motivated.

4. To gain a sense of purpose: A person can join a group to gain a sense of purpose in life. Because groups usually have a common purpose the person who belongs to the group gets to feel that their life is meaningful.

Music, Movies, and Books

istambul türkçe yabanci kitap (Turkish language Book for foreign students) . my favorite songs are R and B, sentimental and Sierra Leone music to be specific. my best movie series are Game of thrones, fast and furious, blood Diamond, Beast of no nation by Idriss Elba etc. I like to read adventure stories. I also like a book called My mothers Rules Written by Lynn Toler. However, the world is rarely a place where everything can be categorized. The same with reading — the process itself is nothing more than a way of consuming information. Listening, for example, is another one, and no one would say that ‘listening is good on its own, it makes you smarter’. Everything is about which type of information you consume through listening. Or through reading. Luckily, there are 3 types of books that will definitely make you smarter and better. If you read them.
1. Biographies: It help you to learn from other people’s mistakes. It is almost the same as reading about tough choices a character makes. all situations took place in our real world. And everything that happened to the character could happen to you in one way or another. Every person is unique, dealing with unique set of problems and getting into unique situations. Surely it relates to people about whom books are being written. Biographies help you understand cause and effect relationships that rule in our world. But in fact, the world operates according to certain laws, which may sometimes seem to be counter-intuitive and difficult to grasp. Biographies let you learn these laws and, therefore, get a great advantage over others.
2. Science fiction and fantasy
3. Books on communication and networking skills: But in order to get access to this kind of knowledge you should know how to get along with different people, how to talk to them and how to be the one they would like to deal with.
For that you need books dedicated to networking, public speaking and developing a set of communicative skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done. I have paid a pleasant visit to one of the most biggest airport in the World. ( Istanbul International Airport ). You can fly to just about everywhere from Istanbul International Airport. Thanks to flag carrier Turkish Airlines’ 260-and-counting destinations. A modern fleet of aircraft served by kid-friendly crew has helped the fast-growing airline win Best Airline in Europe for four years running. Also i have been able to visit the most touristic Cities in turkey eg. Ankara, Konya, Bursa, istambul, Antalya, and Samsun. Another amazing thing is that i have been able to learn one of the most difficult language in the world (Turkish language). I have visited Mevlana the most interesting venue in konya and also Kiz Kalesi in Mersin. I have tasted the most favourable dish in Turkey known as Adana Kebap in Adana City. Tasted the most delicious food in Mersin Tantuni.

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH: I'm very passionate about Education. I love to teach English. Teaching prepare and influence tomorrow's leaders. Every day, students learn important lessons about sharing, respect, valuing differences and making ethical decisions. The value of a teacher in a student’s life cannot be overstated. Becoming a teacher offers endless opportunity to help all students understand and achieve their full potential. Teaching is not only a profession with rigorous standards; it is also a calling to serve others. If you enjoy working with children and you believe that education has the power to change lives, then you may have what it takes to become an exemplary teacher.

LEARN: I want to learn about the world. I'm also excited to know about different cultures around the world. I like to share my experience with friends and also to know what there thoughts are in general. I also like to share the history of my country for others to benefit and also to learn the rich local culture of my country Sierra Leone.

SHARE: There are certain things you only share with your best friend.
You can reveal anything to your best friend knowing that you will not be judged. Because of that, there are certain activities you will only do together for the ultimate fun!
I like to Engage in positive sharing of emotions and thoughts, and contributing to each others' feel-good experiences helps improve health and prolong life. ... When we share our feelings, knowledge and possessions with others, we create a relationship of trust, which in most cases flows back and helps us feel secure and happy. Sharing is, in fact, a very natural instinct in humans. Can you imagine where we would have been if our ancestors had not co-operated and shared food, shelter and arrangements of security? Through sharing resources, information and knowledge, we save time and energy and create free time for ourselves. Lolxx i can even share you my Instagram @iammed.sl

What I Can Share with Hosts

First, I am super social when I travel. I talk with whomever I'm sitting next to on the bus. I chat with vendors. I normally interact with people while waiting for a train. I ask for directions even when I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going. The more people you talk to, the more people learn about your journey, the more likely that someone will say, "Hey, if you don't have a place to stay, why don't you stay at my home?" I adore Couch-surfing because it gives me insight into a culture that would be hard to get when you're staying at a hotel or hostel.

Second, I'm a very social person. I have the ability to crack jokes and make my host a great time. I can play games and sport with hosts, work with them around and make them feel comfortable around me. I'm an easy going gentle man. my host can have the best that is normally possible. I can treat my hosts to movies and entertainment.
