So here we go :)
I am a Brazillian guy, studying Materials Engineering in the city of Florianópolis
I've been doing sports my whole life and I think that if I wasn't on engineering I would be an athlete, probably in martial arts, yeah I'd really like that.
By the same way I love sports I love music, I really enjoy hearing and playing blues, it is a way of expressing deep and heavy emotions in a very fluid and self connected way.
Well I hug people and kiss their cheeks when we meet, I am a brazilian haha
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
More than a place to stay I am looking for to meet people from different countries, with different life storys who want to have a good time together, to sit at a pub and have a good conversation, to laugh and share and high five.
Well, I am on coachsurfing because it is real and because of the experience exchange.
Music, Movies, and Books
I've been reading a lot latelly and I basically search for those who have something clear, intense, insightfull and without half words to say.
Quoting Jack Keroauc “[...]the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes “Awww!”
I like John Fante, Bukowski, Kerouac, H. D. Thoreau, Hunter S. Thompson, Fernando Pessoa, João Cabral de Melo Neto, Carlos Drummond and so on.
Music definitely Blues, Jazz, Bop like T-bone Walker, Muddy Waters, J. J. Cale, Eric Clapton, Derek Trucks, Dizzy Gillespie, B.B. King (yeah Live at Regal just wonderfull), I like some electronic music too and for sure some brazilian music, I like the happiness of forró, the laziness of Bossa Nova and I like the joy of samba.
Have been into some heavy music before but not that much lately although I like it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hmmm I owned the very first Jiu-Jitsu champioship I got in.
Once we gathered 100 friends in an Island called Honey Island where we spend an unforgettable time.
This year and old friend and me hitchhiked and met another old friends in a 5 days music festival and it was amazing.
Oh, I kept most of the friends I made in my childhood and I am really glad for that.
I wrote poetry for some time in my life. ( I can try to translate them to you if you would like).
On my 18 years old birthday I told my mom I'd make a little tattoo in my left arm and got back home with almost my full arm covered in a OldSchool Oriental Tattoo, she got crazy hahaha.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some jiu-jitsu, self defense and judô, how to punch a person's face and how to run fast if you'd like to add that to the experience hahaha about nutrition, physical training.
I can teach you how to make Caipirinhas with "cachaça" so then we can share them. I can teach you the brazilian way of speaking portuguese ( which in fact is the coolest way isn't it? haha)
I am open to learn whatever life puts in front of me. I'm a great listener and I am ready to everything that will give me a good story to tell.
What I Can Share with Hosts
cachaça, fun times, my very nice presence haha and I can help with anything needed in the house, cleaning, organizing, painting, construction, destruction, disturbing the neighboors, making peaces with the neighboors.
