About Me

I'm 20, finished school in 2016, then had a hard time figuring out what to study... It was probably going to have to to something with arts or design, or I'll be a teacher, or a journalist, media, management, ... Or basically ANYTHING else 😂 UPDATE: I've started German and English last year and we'll see where it'll lead me.. so far, I absolutely love it. :)
I love being creative, drawing, museums, architecture/history, photography etc, singing, discovering new music... I like hiking, but running is my favourite sport. Generally being outside and nice scenery instantly makes me happy! And of course NZ's nature and traveling (surprise). A few months ago I travelled all over wondeful NZ and South-East-Asia with my then-boyfriend and a backpack/small camper van which was literally the best time ever! 😭 this time also made me want to see more of Europe as we‘re so privileged with our infrastrucure, cheap flights and diverse cultures 🙏🏻

I have worked in temporary jobs such as babysitting, at a children's summer camp, catering (on festivals), two different jobs in NZ and am currently a waitress at a small German / Swabian restaurant in my town (very recommendable!) :)

While I‘m at my hometown near Stuttgart (which is quite often as I‘m a real family person and my bf lives here) I‘m not able to host due to our small flat but anyways Heidelberg, where I study, is much cuter for tourists to discover ☺️ I might even join you there as I haven‘t seen all of it myself yet! Or just go out with you in the evenings:)

Me and who ever I'm travelling with are always open to a night out at a (cheap!! As we‘re all students haha) bar, beers at home and any other activities our future hosts might come up with :))
I myself am a veryyy open-minded, interested and talkative person but I found it's always a lot easier to talk to people who are also commutative and not shy 😅

Soo looking forward to meeting you all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If you’ve ever heard about the regionals from South-West Germany, Swabians, you know that we’re stereotypically known to be super economical and thrifty... and also being a student myself I just know what it’s like to really want to travel though on low budget as well! :) plus, I love to help out with some authentical info and stories on cool places, sights, German and local culture, language and so on :)
I've only had a couple of experiences staying with people (NZ, Jakarta, Milano) so far but they were all insanely positive and I'm still friends and in touch with some hosts from NZ, which is amazing!
