My name is Paula Behrens and I am an 18-year-old German backpacker looking for some nice places to stay.
Other people describe me as an open-minded, friendly and funny person, who does not hesitate getting in contact with other people from all over the world .
I love meeting new people and learning about their cultures and traditions, it inspires me as well as arts.
Furthermore I am an active person, I love being outside in nature, doing some sportive acitivities like hiking and diving, but I am open for everything new!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This year I finished high school in Germany and I didn't want to study directly and give up my freedom ;) ...so I started to travel through New Zealand.
In my opinion "couchsurfing" is the best way to get in contact with interesting people from all over the world and it supports the exchange of different cultures and traditions.
That is also the main reason why I am travelling, firstly I am looking forward to get in contact with new mentalities and on the other hand seeing this beautiful nature over here :)
