About Me
I'd say I'm very open minded and easy going, eager to discover new places. Not only am I studying international tourism management, I love to experience other cultures, places and meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best thing traveling brings, is in my opinion, getting to know other cultures and meeting people; there's always an interesting story behind each person.

Music, Movies, and Books
That's a hard one, there is so much out there... For music I'd say Boy and Bear, Half Moon Run, Bon Iver and that kind of genre. Though reggae music (including the festivals) is definitely along favorites as well.
Books - I dreamed of Africa, travel stories..
Movies: Intouchables, Bienvenue chez le Chtis and many more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During a field trip of my studies I've visited Myanmar. Amazing people, very warm, open, was great being there, experiencing their open harted hospitality. A balloon flight over the beautiful temples in Bagan was definitely the cherry on the cake of the entire trip!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm very interested in languages, I think it's of great value mastering some of them. The good thing about languages is that there's always something to learn, and therefore I would love to pick up some during traveling. Obviously willing to teach some Dutch words as well:)
Moreover, I can teach some ice-skating (speed ice-skating though). Yes.... We Dutch ice skate a lot, guess that makes me a real Dutchie then
