Well, I have big plans. I'm only 19 and I just now finished school this summer. I decided that my life will start right now, yeah xD I move out from home and start studying at the uni in Freiburg - German and Romance languages and literature studies. 'Cause I love languages, I always carry a book in my bag and I write a lot in my leisure time. That's important to me. On a lonely island I would take a stack of paper and ink with me so it won't get boring in the shadow of the palm trees with the sounds of the sea in the ear...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last summer I hitchhiked with my best friend from Malmö to Stockholm and back one time right across Sweden to Copenhagen and further on till Karlsruhe in two weeks. At that time we were still students and quite flat broke so we exercised ourselves in the fine art of travelling low priced. Of course couchsurfing makes up one part of that art :) We met plenty of great people and opportunities arose on which we have not counted at all...

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I guess that's not that easy. I think I'll start with the books. As a lover of literature of course I have already read some classics, actually from all sorts of corners of the world - well, at least from some :P
"One hundred years of solitude" for example by the colombian author García Márquez is really impressing. Or "The silent duchess" by Dacia Maraini. I also like Stendhal "The Red and the Black" a lot but this listing could be continued almost eternally I fear. What concerns music I like everything that's a bit extraordinary, voices you won't forget that fast and sounds you could get lost in if you don't pay attention... Movies are liable to my temper

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think - one - amazing thing I've done, one which could be highlighted here does not cross my mind at all. And anyway, is that question not a bit strange somehow?
Does it not depend rather on the many little things in life you accomplish?
Taking somebody by surprise in the morning with a bagfull of bread rolls, cooking jam for friends, lending an ear to the people if they need someone who listens to them, helping if someone moves on, writing post cards - These are some little gestures that enrich everydays life :)

The roof above my head, my couch, good mood, all my books, my bathroom, words in the morning, midday, afternoon and evening, all my fantastic kitchen tools (I love them :), breakfast and dinner (if desired), some local knowledge, advices and tips, ehm... Now I am runnig short of ideas :P
