About Me
I am living in the Netherlands, in Best a village 10km away from Eindhoven, a big city in the South of the Netherlands and close to Eindhoven Airport. (read additional information)
I am 27 years old and I love travelling. I am an easy going person, always interested in other cultures and I like to talk to people to know more about their interestests. I am interested in a lot of stuff and I would love to learn more about the world.
Last year I decided to quit my job for travelling, I went away for a while and now i am searching in life.
I don't expect you to be with me all the time but I also want you to know you,
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I want to integrate travelling back into my life. At the moment I dont have the money to travel so it is a possibility to travel at home due couchsurfing. :)
I also feel obligated to do something back to couchsurfing. I had the honour to be hosted by some great people in my trips and feel inspired to do the same.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like Passenger, i love his music. I like to read a lot mostly books with a philosopic view, I dont watch a lot of movies, every now and then but i have a Netflix account so we can if you know a must see.
I like to read and watch documentaries about history, healthy life style, travelling, some stuff with a sociological character mostly informatical. I dont like to watch television with all of its bullshit.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling to Thailand when i was 19 building an orphanage.
Walking on the Chinese wall, teaching in China.
Quitting my job and going on a trip with a one way ticket.
Visiting Palestina, Myanmar, Iran.
Living in a local village in Sri Lanka, and teaching on a local school.

Teach, Learn, Share
For the Traveler
by John O'Donohue
Every time you leave home,
another road takes you
into a world you were never in.
New strangers on other paths await.
new places that have never seen you
will startle a little at your entry.
Old places that you know well
will pretend nothing
changed since your last visit.
When you travel, you find yourself
alone in a different way,
more attentive now
to the self you bring along,
Your more subtle eye watching
you abroad; and how what meets you
touches that part of the heart
that lies low at home:
How you unexpectedly attune
to the timbre in some voice,
opening a conversation
you want to take in
to where your longing
has pressed hard enough
inward, on some unsaid dark,
to create a crystal of insight
you could not have known
you needed
to illuminate
your way.
When you travel,
a new silence
goes with you,
and if you listen,
you will hear
what your heart would
love to say.
A journey can become a sacred thing:
make sure, before you go,
to take the time
to bless your going forth,
to free your heart of ballast
so that the compass of your soul
might direct you toward
the territories of spirit
where you will discover
more of your hidden life,
and the urgencies
that deserve to claim you.
May you travel
in an awakened way,
gathered wisely
into your inner ground;
that you may not waste
the invitations which
wait along the way
to transform you.
May you travel safely,
arrive refreshed,
and live your time away
to its fullest;
return home more enriched,
and free to balance
the gift of days
which call you.
