Hi!

A little about me: I'm a Flemish 27 year old bio engineer that is just floating around in life. I moved from Belgium to Ireland in November 2020 to spend some time farming and travelling the country, as I had just graduated but I didn't want to settle for a job yet. It was supposed to be a temporary move, but Covid kind of locked me in the country and I ended up loving Cork, so I decided to stay a bit longer. I have left farming moreless behind me and am now living in the city, looking for a job, woohoo!

Most of my free time goes to grabbing pints (or coffees) with friends, reading books on a sunny bench or any patch of grass I can find, and playing music. My most recent love is the guitar. I'm a beginner but I'm most determined to learn everything there is to know, so if you want to teach me...
I absolutely love food, chats and an evening out. I enjoy going on long walks with a podcast and if I'm not too busy, I'll spend an afternoon cooking or baking.

At the moment (summer 2022), I'll be travelling around in Europe a bit and I'm hoping to couch surf here and there, so I can meet people and get a taste of the local atmosphere. It's always nice arriving to a place and having a chat with someone who is actually from there!

A friend once said "I think you're rich when you have friends in all places". And I agree, so I enjoy making friends wherever I go.

Musica, film e libri

I like all music, but not a big fan of reggae after having worked a reggaefestival for four days and having heard nothing but that particular beat for 96 hours straight :) always happy to get to know more music!!

Movies: I never watch horror as Im still scared murderers will come nibble my toes at night.

I always carry a book with me for dull moments, but nowadays it takes me ages to finish one! I prefer fiction to nonfiction as I like to get swept up in a story.
