A couple movies that always cheer me up are A Street Cat Named Bob, The Holiday, a Walk in the Woods, Practical Magic and Eddie the Eagle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the Lares trek: a three-day hike in Peru on a high altitude where I got to see and learn more about Inca history and see the local culture. Apart from the locals you wouldn't really run into other people and that sometimes made me feel like I had the Andes to myself.
