Medical student from Vigo (Galicia). Although I study in Santiago de Compostela, this year l decided to live a new adventure in Gdansk, Poland, as an Erasmus student.

I love where I live , Galicia. Its ocean and its nature offer thousands of possibilities for every person looking for new experiences.

My family is the most important thing in life for me and reading, travelling and medicine are three of my passions. I am always willing to have a beer with friends while having a good conversation or listening to some good music. I find an interesting debate always challenging . I consider myself a "NATURAL CONVERSATION MAKER".

I believe life it is meant to share with others so we have to take advantage of every given opportunity to do so! I find meeting new people very refreshing. It adds a bit of fresh air into our lives.

The best year of my life was five years ago, when I lived for a year in Maine, United States, with a wonderful host family. I cant wait to keep discovering the world and meet new people. Our world has too much to see and life is too short!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Traveling is great. You get to see new places and live new experiences. But people are what really make a difference when you go for a trip. A beautiful city could turn into a boring place if you are with the wrong company. And a lame place can become the most wornderful spot in the world if you find the right people to share it with. So the main reason of joining Couchsurfing is having the opportunity of sharing my trips with interesting people who share some of my preferences in life, as well as exchanging opinions with others.

My previous Couchsurfing experiences have been amazing and very enriching. After my first time I decided it was a great way of travelling so I want to keep doing it!

Right now I am not hosting because I live in dorms so my room is practically Harry Potter's Cupboard Under the Stairs and I share it with two friends.
But once I am back in my hometown in Spain I cant wait to start hosting people from all around the world.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I was sixteen I got an scholarship to live in the United States for a year. That was an amazing experience because living with a host family in a foreign country with a different culture for a whole year opened up my mind. There I started doing things I never thought about, like joining the cross country ski team (although I had no idea how to ski), swimming in the beach where "Jaws" was filmed, climbing Mount Washington in January (and also falling downhill there) with so much snow that we had to used snow shoes and many other things I hope I can share with those I have the chance to meet thanks to Couchsurfing.

Good conversation is always a great choice for spending your time. Sharing experiences and stories is part of the appeal of this kind of apps. That way, if I travel somewhere I will come back home with way more things to remember of the trip, and hopefully I will leave a good memory in my host mind. I am always willing to try new things and I am always up for plans.
