About Me

Hey guys!

Im Özge, a student in Cologne. Im an openminded girl with humor, looking for hosts and travelers to collect some more travel memories. I love culutural exchange, I enjoy any kind of diversity and I try to learn and share as much as possible. Life is beuatiful if you know to enjoy it, and Im just enjoying it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore the place Im visiting of the view of a citizen and not of a tourist which is just visiting the sigts. And of Course to meet up nice people, share anything and collect nice moments

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Amy Winehouse, the most impressionant movie Ive seen is the turkish movie "Gunesi gordum" in english " I saw the sun" which treets of the last habitants of a village in the east of turkey, which have to leave because of the terror there. One part of the family leaves to Istanbul, the other part to Norway. I love this movie because it shows the problems of real life. On the one side the difficulties of immigration and leaving home, on the other side basic faults like discrimination of transsexuals, less education and poverty... I saw this movie so many times and everytime I had to cry.
My favorite book is "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini, a book which also shows the problems of the real world and made me cry many times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring Istanbul- this city is too beautiful to describe
Volunteering in social projects: Ive learned more from homeless people than of some my teachers, totally broke people had more to share with me than some of my friends and little children made me feel save with their love and kindness

What I Can Share with Hosts
