About Me
Collecting stories, cultures, and friendships around the world.
Hello! I’m Luciana, originally from Jambi and based in Bali. I enjoy traveling, meeting people from different cultures, and learning about the world through real human connections.
My work allows me to travel quite often, which is something I truly enjoy. Traveling has taught me that the most beautiful part of any journey is not only the places we see, but the people we meet along the way. I believe every traveler carries a story, and every culture has something valuable to share.
When I’m not traveling, I spend my time with my small family, my husband and our 5-year-old son. Family time, simple conversations, good food, and meaningful connections are things I truly appreciate.
We value kindness, respect, and hospitality. We are open-minded and happy to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. For us, Couchsurfing is not just about accommodation, but about friendship, cultural exchange, and creating memorable experiences.
I enjoy hearing travel stories, sharing meals, exploring local places, and sometimes just having relaxed conversations about life and culture.
If you stay with us, you are not just a guest — you are a traveler sharing a small part of your journey with our family.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, traveling is not only about visiting new places, but about connecting with people and sharing meaningful moments. I love discovering different cultures, hearing stories from travelers and locals, and creating unforgettable experiences along the way.
My job requires me to travel frequently, so I only spend a few days each month in Bali. But when I’m home, I truly enjoy opening my home to fellow travelers. I live with my husband and our 6 years old son. We are a Muslim family and an open-minded couple who appreciate meeting kind and respectful people from different parts of the world.
I can offer a mattress for one surfer and simple shared meals. What I value most is good conversation, cultural exchange, and the chance to learn from each other. If I have free time or a day off, I’d be happy to show you around and share a little bit of Bali life with you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling with my young son has been one of the most amazing experiences in my life. Exploring new places while seeing the world through a child’s eyes makes every journey more meaningful and unforgettable. It reminds me that traveling is not only about destinations, but about the memories we create along the way.
