While I'm writing this I am travelling in Asia by myself. I'm 26 years old, Dutch and very much into have a good conversation about a wide range of topics!

During my travels I enjoy connecting with people from all over the world, with different backgrounds, stories, experiences and perspectives on life.

At home, I'm a lecturer at a university in my home town (Nijmegen) where I teach (international) economics at the undergraduate level. I derive great pleasure from working with students who, to be fair, are not much younger than me, and to learn more about the research area's I'm really passionate about.

My spare time is mostly about music. I taught myself to play electric guitar at a basic level and I'm in the process of doing the same for bass. Moreover, I make my own music which is greatly inspired by the bands and artists I listend to regularly.

So to put it briefly, I love talking about all sorts of stuff, travelling, music, filosophy, experiences, politics, religion and intellectualism. I try to learn from every conversation I have, but most of all, I try to have a good time!
