About Me
Hello everyone,
I am Thien Thanh, born in Vietnam, grew up in Germany. I'm interested in cultures, their languages, especially their food.... Ah yes, and don’t forget the people 😉 That's why I'm addicted to traveling.
I love it to laugh and enjoy a beer with the people I’ve met.
While hiking, bicycle or jungle tours I enjoy the calm nature.
Now I'm studying primary school teaching.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Vietnam I did a Jungle Tour following a buffalos Shepherd Track, get bitten by leeches, saw the hard working women with the black teeth of the ethnic groups.
I hiked in the Austrian Alp but wasn't prepared for the weather. It snowed and my legs totally disappeard in the snow. In General the real challenge wasn't to get on top of the Mountain, it was the way back down trying hard not to die and I survived ;)
I enjoyed a Bath in a hot spring with some Red head monkeys in between a beautiful snow landscape in the middle of the Japanese mountains.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach German and Vietnamese vocabulary, can talk about my life in Germany, my life in Vietnam as not a real Vietnamese and my life in Japan as an exchange student trying to learn Japanese.
I could share my knowledge about German and Vietnamese cooking.
I can show you around Freiburg and villages around Freiburg.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversations about different cultures, food, music and hopefully a lot of fun.
