Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to try out this unique way of making friends. Traveling is a learning experience, and the best way to learn about a country's culture is to get myself immersed in it. The home-stay kind of feel during my trips would be a great and fun way to experience how the locals live. I travel on occasion and would like a local travel buddy in the different countries I plan to visit. Plus I know what it's like to be traveling alone--could be fun but it's more fun with a friend. Interests

I love spelunking, walking, good coffee, museums, bit of wine, and good food. I also like exploring new things and places (trekking to volcanoes, island-hopping, trying exotic food, visiting historical or heritage sites, approaching a Komodo dragon, etc). I'm pretty cool, friendly, and curious (I'm mostly quiet, silly, and just simple-happy). I don't mind late nights just we watching a TV series, waking up and going out for a midnight snack, or just really hanging-out.
