Hello!

My name is Veronika, I am 22 y.o.
I come from quite big town in Czech republic, however I keep moving and after two years in lovely Newbury (located in England) I live now over an year in slightly bigger Edinburgh :)

Traveling is one of my biggest passion next to music, taking photos or for example good food. I have made my first solo trip just two weeks after my 18th birthday to the Belgium and I immediately knew that this is something I want to do in my life.
I love to keep myself busy by doing things I am interested in or by trying something new as well but I dont mind either to sit down with cup of tea/cofee or glass of wine ( ideal by live music, I LOVE love live music!!) - enjoy some good conversation and relax.

I think I am friendly and reliable person who is for every fun idea and so I hope I will be able to meet some great people during my travels and perhaps do something rememberable together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to travel. I love to meet new people, explore new destinations, different kinds of food, culture, life. I think its pretty amazing and its shame not to find out how other people live somewhere else in the world. Literally, I can not imagine spend my life on one place. I think this is a wonderful way how to make new friends and get to know the destination in the best way too.

I have actually tried to find people by couchsurfing just couple of times and I think its pretty good idea so I am definitely excited to carry on and meet more interesting people in the future :):)

Music, Movies, and Books

As I said before, music is one of my favourite hobbies. I can´t even imagine to go to work without earphones and I live just 5 minutes by walking from there! I am big fan of rock´n roll, 80´ and 90´, indie rock, alternative rock and chilled music similar to those.

I am quite big fan of movies as well, hovewer, last three years I do not have television or laptop and I do not always get excited to watch Netflix on my phone :D So If i get to see a movie it’s most likely to be in cinema .. Btw it is still really hard to choose one movie as there are so many good ones out there :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to England almost three years ago and become to be confident with myself, met so many gorgeous people, improved my english. I could not make a better decision :):)
