About Me
I'm 23, I'm danish, I’m back in OZ!
From Sep ‘18 to Jun ‘19 I did a 10 months solo stroll in OZ both hitchhiking, couchsurfing and using Workaway to find quirky, open, lovely people and great experiences.
Along the way I started focusing on what things I find to be key in my life and found that I want be positive, brave, kind and honest, so I try to develop those sides of myself.
I enjoy being active and using my body. After years of elite volleyball I’m no longer living a life centered around sport, but I do love movement of almost all sorts, whether it be playfully fighting, yoga, ballgames, dancing, hiking or something else it’s always a good way to connect.
I also love singing, I love a good conversation, boardgame or bonfire, I love drawing and other ways of creative expression and meeting up with people that widen my perspective.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find couchsurfing an unique opportunity to meet locals and travellers whilst travelling. I'm not travelling to world to see the sightseeing highlights like the Opera House in Sydney, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco or the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo. I'm sure the places are worth visiting, but what really matters to me is the cultural exchange, the people I’ll meet along the way, the ones I'll laugh with, live with and see those famous sights with.
