Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from different cultures with different stories, languages, habits, music and favourite dishes.

Interests

I like cities, to see and experience how people live together and make the best of things. I've studied human geography and urban planning and did a specialisation in migration studies. I love architecture, dancing, reading, cooking and especially eating. I also really like to have plants in my house :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Alt-J, Selah Sue, Lana del Rey, Red hot chili peppers, the Beatles, Manu Chao, Paolo Nutini and many more. I like the movies Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and Donny Darko. I just read a book of Haruki Murakami which was really nice: Norwegian Wood. In general, I read a lot of Dutch authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the wadi rum desert in Jordan was really amazing. Some nice parties in Berlin as well, or eating nasi rendang in Indonesia or chicken Fesenjun in Iran :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn how people live around the world, what makes them happy and what is their favourite food? Things like that :) maybe we can cook together? Or I can teach you how to cycle in the streets of amsterdam;) or I really want to learn some Spanish! No hablo español yet :(
