About Me
My CS profile is brand new even though I have already been hosted by couchsurfers while travelling with someone.
I'm Alessio. Italian guy, from North East of Italy, not far from Venice.
I'm studying Economics and Management at Venice university, such a beautiful city to studying at.
I also studied in Málaga, Spain for 6 months as Erasmus student. Currently I'm doing an internship in Gothenburg, Sweden.
I also spent few years studying Electrical Energy Engineering at university of Padua, but then I found out that it was not the right path for me.
In the weekend I used to be a salesperson in an hardware store. And I also was a pizza-boy for almost 3 years.
I'm Italian, and even though I'm not a chef, I really enjoy cooking (and eating) good food!
What else. I have a dog (a big one), a cat, a guitar, a 1979 blue Vespa, an analog camera, and a big desire to travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my favourite quotes is from "The old man and the sea" by E.Hemingway:
"Now is no time
to think of what you do not have.
Think of what you can do
with that there is."
I DO NOT HAVE a lot of money, the possibility to spend the entire life travelling, an overland vehicle, etc. But WHAT THERE IS is health, a big desire to travel, to explore, meet new people, share experiences and thoughts with them enjoying the differences. And couchsurfing is a great thing to do so.
Interests
BACKPACKING, and more generally cheap travelling with the essential things.
SEARCHING and enjoying the less touristic and less explored places.
Dreaming of overlanding one day.
PHOTOGRAPHY. Recently I'm also rediscovering the fascinating film-photography.
EATING and COOKING. A significant component of my life
