About Me
Some of what is written comes from others, some from me.
Adventurous, curious, open-minded, father, studying life, still figuring out stuff, teaching languages to children and young adults who are busy with more important things, burning, passionate, easily stoked, creative, supportive, testing myself time and again, hiking, rambling, trail running, roving and riding my bike, flowing, zen in the art of surfing singletrack, spiritual, nature-loving, as authentic as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The chance of getting to know life in different areas of a country, or altogether different countries, through the eyes of the people living there is amazing. Plain and simple.
Music, Movies, and Books
John Butler Trio, Clutch, Incubus, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden in music, but it really is depending on the mood.
My favorite movies are simply too many, depending on my mood I am in for a romantic comedy or something gritty.
My favorite books are either history books, good novels or books on how to improvemyself as a human.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one? There are too many. I have experienced the now-defunkt Fiddlehead Farm Youth Hostel high above in the rainforest above Lake Powell, British Columbia, where I found fresh paw prints of a mountain lion in the dirt.
I taught my son how to ride berms and pump tracks with his mountainbike, and witnessed him riding down an easy trail in Are's bike park, Sweden, when he was four years old.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
Countries I’ve Lived In
