About Me

Hello everyone!

My name is Nicola and I am from Czech republic (it is a small country in the middle of Europe, earlier known as Czechoslovakia), and I am solo traveler and adventure lover. I am really energetic person, joyful one, I like being with people, but I am also grateful for a calm and quiet moments. I am enjoying my morning rituals with a green tea and yoga. Although I like my country, and I love creating a home with my partner, I also find myself fulfilling when I am traveling and connecting with people and nature from different parts of the word. And just being grateful that even in a partnership, I can still do that and travel alone. ♥ I really love deep connections, with humans, animals, nature or just situation I am in. I am trying to fully connect to myself and get to know, who I really am (and will I ever know? Haha). I am interested in psychology, spirituality and energy around us, in yoga and art too. I have my business when I am doing therapies, talking with people, listening to them, supporting, really being there for them. A am also doing energy healing and connections using cacao. My another hobby is doing theatre and improvisation theatre. I love humor, like really really love, I was thinking about becoming a stand-up comic, but I think I will just connect it with therapy, hahahaha. But tbh, the dream was kind off fullfilled when I started to do improvisation. :)

2 years ago I was as a solo traveler for two months in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I was workawaying, being in center of mystic arts, living in a jungle, dealing with scorpions on my neck, in beginning "fighting" with spiders bcs my arachnophobia, but how the time went I started to connect with the nature and accept, that I am the one, who went into their space (even that they were in my bed, not me on their! oh wait... maybe they were there first... oh fuck, hahaha). In Nicaragua I was living in the slum with local people, I had less then basic things, but I could use water and bed, so I was happy and grateful. And that were, my dear friends, best months in my life. Last year I went alone to Sri Lanka, I connect with so many local people, also using couchsurfing, and was enjoying living moments. Same like in Bali 4 years ago, where I was volunteering with children. Oh, how much I loved it there. Sooooo strong connections! I was living in a village with locals and I found there so much love, that I found myself thinking "Isn´t this my purpose? Giving and accepting love?", because, to be honest, it was so beatiful and true, that I felt like it was my home.

So, even that I sounds like a person who loves connecting and love (loves love haha), as I said, I really love humor too. And ADVENTURE! And motorbikes, haha. So I can promise you, that you will laugh with me at least for a while every single day! (But I need to aclimatized with speaking English hah, or every language you have, I can use translator and panthomim, haha).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What motivates me to be on Couchsurfing? Well, I want to get to know new culture, I love adventure, nature, meeting new people and sharing stories, making friends, unforgettable memories and discovering something magical too! I really love to travel, but the most important are feelings for me, awareness. And when I am traveling by CS, I am feeling alive. And that is the reason, why am I here. I want to feel alive the most of the time of my life. And every time I connect with someone using CS, I made another new home...

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all musical genre... depends on my mood. :)

For my travel in Costa Rica I choosed philosophy and psychology books (yoga, meditation, breathing) and Murakami. But when I was there, I started to study reiki and... ya... it went this way, haha.
Favourite books: To Kill a Mockingbird, Le Petit Prince, Harry Potter, The Catcher in the Rye,...
Ok, plz, stop it...

True is, that I had a lot of movies, music and concerts here, but for unknown reason.. it is not here anymore! I was maybe writing too much haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Music festival, concert of one famous music group.. Went to so many people in there and make them smile, all of them, only with one think.. best feeling ever. I felt infinitive.

(And sleeping in the abandoned prison. Loved it)

OH AND NOW, I can saaaaaaayyyyy... breaking old programs!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to be stupid and clever at the same time! (Lol, I am reading this in 2021. I wrote this maybe in 2016, and I am telling myself: Oh really? Show me, grrrrl!)

I can share my positive energy, my stories, my passion.

I can give you energy healing session or therapy too. And love. A lot of love. Like really. Sometimes I am like walking love, when I am with people with whom I can nicely connect, hihi. ♥

What I Can Share with Hosts
