About Me

Hi Everyone!
I'm sitting in my office, filling my profile and thinking what you wanna know about me. Let's see!
In the normal life I am an engineer, travelling in my country and install high voltage electrical devices. Boring (only for most of you)! :) When I get home I like jogging, hanging with friends, going out, riding my Yamaha motorbike or simply watch movies or build LEGO sets. :)
If I have more time or even free days I consider journeys or travels. Years ago it started with family trips, then with friends to neightbouring countries. After that I became a member of AEGEE and had the chance to reach not the typical touristic places in Turkey and Russia. Then an Asian semester changed everything. I saw the other side of the world, different cultures with different people and different life. It was addictive and since then the world can't stop me to explore it! :)
I like to travel to places where life is different from what I get used to. I like to be out of my comfort zone, try new things. Extreme things, sports, all day trekkings sounds nice and I always open for them. After a tiring day I like to have a chat besides a glass of beer. And eat! I do like eating! :)
What I don't like? I'm not a big fan of dancing. Sorry! :)
If you get a message from me it means that I liked you reading your profile and considering a short stay at your place. I usually do this when I’m tired of hostels and wanna hang with locals, slow down my travel a little bit, get a bit of rest and see how you live!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel more and more and I realized that sometimes I prefer hostels to meet other travellers but meeting and staying with locals is a much better way to explore the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: mostly metal ( was playing in bands as keyboardist), but I'm big a big fan of movie soundtracks and bard musik too.
Movies: Love them! I saw all the IMDB top 200 and more, but I really like Indian, Russian, French, Scandinavian and Korean movies as well.
Books: I like adventour novels. When I was a child I liked Verne, Tolkien and Karl May, nowadays Dan Brown. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to read. :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tasting raw sea cucumber and silkworm larvae in Korea. This kind of experience was enough for a lifetime. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My opinion about the world, stories and in case a traditional meal. ;)
