I'm currently living and studying in Boğaziçi University in İstanbul .I'm a second year student.I'm able to speak English fluently and continuing computer engineering program in my collage.I have a lot of interest in many different areas including all kinds of sports,hiking,diving and so on.I am very talkative and easygoing with anyone.I definitely prefer to spend time with my host and this is really important for me.Since I travel alone I would expect my host to hang out with me and show me places in where they live or at least we should hang out in a bar at night grabbing couple of beers:D.I want to travel the most of the countries until graduation and my next stop will be Balkans and this is going to be my first couchsurfing experience.(this August)Check my facebook(Berkan Balaban).(the one with baby on its profile ;D)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

ı would like to live with locals in where I travel to because I'm not the kind of person who just see around and come back to home country .I want to spend time and live with locals.I also think that this is one of the best ways to travel without getting your pocket empty and since I always travel alone it is also a good way to find a person to spend time with and not get bored.I share my ideas about everything and would like to hear what you think.We can have a conversation about everything.If you dont have a bed for me, don't bother(I can sleep on the couch).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

on the last day ı stayed in Rio de Janeiro I decided to climb a mountain called pedra de gavea.I was running out of money and couldn't find a guide to climb with me with accaptable prices so ı hired a guide who has not enough equipment with a cheap price.During the climbing periob,it was a complete adrenalin rush.I haven't got that much scared in my life.but the view at the top was totally worthed.(Details when we meet up:D).

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach English and am also giving lessons to teens to get them prepared for their university entrance exam and ı do it for free.I am still learning Portuguese.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share what I get from my country.(We have GREAT foods:D).Most importantly I can share my knowledge,thoughts and experiences with my host and I expect the same.
