Hey, I’m Fran / Curro — a human being in constant transformation. Originally from Málaga, Spain, I’ve lived in a few places, worked in tech and design, and recently left the 9-to-5 path to explore a freer, more meaningful way of living. Right now, I’m traveling, playing music, and reconnecting with the essence of being alive.

I love nature, music (I play piano, guitar, cajón, and travel with a ukulele), cooking, and discovering new cultures — especially through food. I believe a shared meal can be the start of a lifelong friendship.

I’m also into dancing, long walks that turn into mini adventures, and conversations that leave your mind buzzing a little. I try to stay off my phone as much as possible — I think presence is one of the rarest currencies we have these days.

I’ve been on Couchsurfing for years but never actually surfed or hosted — yet. Life kept me moving, and now I’d love to use this platform to connect, share stories, and offer something back — even if it’s just a good dish, some live music, or a helping hand.

Complicated, a lot of them. For me, music really depends on your emotional state. If I had to select a few books, I would probably go for these that come to my mind right now, but there are a lot more that have helped shape the human I am today:

- Ask the dust, John Fante.
- Siddhartha, Hermann Hesse.
- Sensitivity and Intelligence in the Plant World, Stefano Mancuso.
- Animal Farm, George Orwell.
- Trilogy of the Problem of the three bodies. (Reading right now).

I love watching movies as well. It's too hard to just select a few of them. I just do not like the latest mainstream, which sucks big deal; no offense.
