About Me

Hi !

I now live and I can host in the Grenoble area (exactly in Eybens - 6 km from the center).
I wanna be here to help travellers, bonus point if you have a taste for hitchiking and backpacking.

I travelled around the world in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and used a lot this app between some nights in my tent and some backpackers hostels stays.
I'm very grateful to the couchsurfing community and sad that it shrinked over the years.

It helped me immensely to keep going, find friendships and discover the local culture in the 40 countries I crossed in that hitchhiking-mostly trip, from Europe to New Zealand then from Canada to Chile and back to Europe through Brazil and Morocco.

That trip now belongs to my past, and I will feel forever connected to the world.

But be sure that I'll be more interested in your story if you don't insist on knowing mine. I like to ask questions;)

The apartment I'm living in right now is neither luxurious nor big ( 33m2 total + small garden) but you can sleep in the living room in a comfy convertible couch, there's a door between my room and that living room, but you'll need to go through my room to use the toilets.

It's quiet and close to the mountains.

I work as a water-polo coach on the afternoons/ evenings and some weekends. So I don't really feel that I'm working, I'm back at my passion job.
I live simply, meditate, eat well and exercise.

You're welcome to stay or just say hello !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Help. Give back. Meet people and stay connected to the non-french world ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Not so much of a music or movie fan anymore, I would rather enjoy a good book. Or live the life adventure in full !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know now that I'll find and become what I want to be by searching inside myself, rather than by wandering around the world. Even if, yes, it was fun :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you with anything french or english related.
I have some knowledge and experience in sports, physiology, travels. But so much to learn, and as I get older it's not always easy to keep expanding my comfort zone, so you'll be welcome if you can help me to challenge myself on that !

Overall I'm more of a listener than a storyteller, and I know that we can always learn from every interaction.

What I Can Share with Hosts

You can borrow my bike to explore the city if I'm working. Grenoble is great for bikes.
If I'm free, we can go hiking, skiing, or do other activities. After 5 years relying on my thumb to travel, then my bike and tent during the pandemic, and 1 year in Lisbon, I'm leaning towards normality again and I bought a car.

I do not really cook, but feel free to use the kitchen. I don't expect that you'll do it for me. I won't expect or ask anything from you.

Be who you wanna be, I'm sure we'll get along.
