Overview
About Me
Hi. My name is Irek. I am 26 years old.
I am talk-ative, honest, friendly and helpful.
I love sport, and i care about politics and economics. I love English language. I have been learning english as often as I can, although I don't speak English as fluently as I want to, but I haven't any problems during conversation.
When you request - please tell something about you. It's not problem if you are like "copy and paste". Ok. The most important thing - tell the truth. If you need just a bed and you don't want to spend time together it's OK. But tell me about that.
I always ask a few questions:
1. What time are you in Gdańsk?
2. Where are you from?
3. What time you leave my home?
4. What's your plans here? Do you want to sightsee?
5. What country you arrive from?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
That was before I travel and host people:
"My friend have recommended me this app so I am here. I like meeting new people and talk in english. I am not rich, I am not poor but I don't like spent too much money for holidays so I think this app is for me."
It was true, but still bullshit.
That is when I understood what I really want (I started traveling two years ago):
I love meet locals and travellers, I love host people. Why? Hours spent with them. Chats, stories, knowledge about them, their values, life, adventures, culture, behaviour - that make me I feel happy. Happy, because I have new friends now. Friends from another countries
Interests
Sport, politics, economics, helping homeless
Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost every music but my favourite is Rockabilly. I really like Pop too.
I have been reading books about economics, properties, behavior and criminology.
I like horrors, comedies and series, for example "Friends", "The Walking Dead", "La casa de papel" or "Prison break".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have gone to England without booked accomodation and unfortunately I had to sleep at the airport
*Edit: I did it again during being in Eindhoven, and I couldn't sleep at the airport, because it's closed 00:00 - 4:30 a.m., so I had to walk around for 4 hours. Night was cold! It was -2°C
*Edit#2: I took a tent and go to Israel and sleep in it for 4 nights. Leaving my staff for all day I was sightseeing - South Israel is very safe place
*Edit#3: Tent again! Fiords are such beautiful place in Norway so I decided to sleep on the top of them and see sunrise. Worth it!
*Edit#4: I just had to run away from one Egyptian guy. Heart attack 😮 but everything's good 😅
Edit#5: walking alone on the Wadi Rum (Jordan desert) with pack it's nice experience, because I was the only human who didn't take car. It was such unusual view for people so they were taking a lot of photos to me from their cars. It was nice. I have been being in their stories forever 😆
Edit#6: I made my "Eurotrip" in Balkans. 7 countries in one month it was my first big travel plan. I have to plan something else now 😎 maybe Asia for half year? 😅
