Music, Movies, and Books
Music: hard to tell bout all the stuff I listen to and/or like: as I usually say, "my music preferences include almost everything from jazz to alternative afrikaans rap" and it's true. So, it's jazz, rock'n'roll, classic rock, disco, synth-pop, new wave, 1980s music, post-punk, house, techno, alternative rock, metal (not much tho), hip-hop (not quite keen on that but possible), rap (same as hip-hop), Afrikaans alternative rap
Books: science- and social-fiction, dystopias, classic literature (of sorts, not much). George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Evgeniy Zamyatin, Gennadiy Voinovich, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Alexander Pushkin, Harper Lee, Jack Kerouac, Leo Tolstoy (I read the "War and Peace" and didn't like it. I also don't like the author and his philosophy but might discuss it with you), Ray Bradbury, Vladimir Mayakovsky, and many-many others.
Movies and TV Shows: Family Guy, The Simpsons, American Dad, previously Doctor Who (the new one, seasons 1-7), the Breaking Bad (seasons 1-3), the Walking Dead (seasons 1-3), have seen a couple of episodes of the Minority Report (didn't like it), the Man in the High Castle (season 1, didn't like it), many old (1970s-2000s) action and science-fiction movies, dramas, indie movies, British indie short movies
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wrote a novel at the age of 18, currently looking for a publisher
Teach, Learn, Share
I study to become a foreign language teacher, so even though I'm just a student I might teach you a thing or two in some of my languages.
I'm also capable of cooking some simple Russian dishes (I'm not a good cook though and might mess everything up) such as pancakes (blinies) and Naval Macaroni.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Almost anything that is connected to linguistics, history or anything else. Not sure bout that thing on this Website
