Overview
About Me
Easygoing, smoker in the yard, whistler in the kitchen, dancer in the room, cat lover, dogs best friend.
I was born and harvested in Colombia almost 3 decades back. Studied filmmaking and did a MFA in Cinemtography in FAMU (Prague, Czech Republic). In the meantime I've just been a daydreamer and night owl, loving movies and tv shows, eating burguers and pizza, and cooking life. Oh, and washing dishes... my only regret is the amount of time I've wasted doing the dishes.
I've just lived in two countries but with a huge contrast between them from which clash I've found a huge self improvement. I've visited several other countries and I really hope that keeps happening. I have a strong feeling for the Other, for the people beside me and even the ones who are not. I would love to use my skills and professional tools to enroll in NGOs working in humanitarian crisis like the ones we live in Latinamerica and hopefully even further away.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a warm-hearted human being who enjoys sharing with people. I try to rule my life by the idea that the more you open yourself to others and let loose of yourself, the more you grow and become humble and honest. I believe couch surfing is a great community to make that happen as far as I've heard from my friends, cause I haven't actually have the chance to experience it on my own through this website.
Now, as for the exact purpose right now, after 2 years and a half studying, traveling, meeting amazing people and existing in Europe I'm finally jumping the puddle back home to Colombia. Madrid will be the rocket launcher and I really want to enjoy the city for some days to have that farewell trip, better off with company and lovely people. So if you wanna walk the city with me, have some beers or coffee and listen to me talking like a parrot, I'll be more than glad.

Music, Movies, and Books
'Favorites' can be misleading... Let's say The White Ribbon, La Sirga, Pulp Fiction for movies. Rayuela and Love in the Time of Cholera for books (definitely not the movie). Music is just fuc*n wide to name a few but it covers a huge range, believe me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snow diving after sauna in Estonia
Teach, Learn, Share

Couple of salsa moves, slangs in spanish from different countries, the story about how I got politely deported from Czech Republic (and no, it's not what you are thinking :P)
