About Me

I'm 26 but people tell me that I got an old soul~...or that I behave like a mom.
I love food, animals, travelling, exploring, dancing, laughing and... oh did I mention food?
I'm a big big advocate for body psychotherapy and other types of somatic therapy and I love talking about it!:D It has been (and still is) one of the most transforming and profoundly healing experiences I've had.
I'm majoring in German as a foreign language and love having a look at the interference of psychology and language learning. (I wrote my thesis about Foreign Language Anxiety^^.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing allows me to meet new people from all over the world and I looove that!:D I had the most unique experiences with hosts (like delivering food in Muscat :D) which you definitely can't have when staying somewhere else!

Besides being a Couchsurfer I love hosting, too! It always feels like having a sleepover with friends :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

•My first solo trip to South Korea and Japan when I was 19...spontaneous ideas are the best :D
•Forgot to pick up my suitcase at the baggage claim in Fukuoka 😅 I was about to exit the airport when I thought something might be missing...went up to a security guy, he laughed at me, took me back through the customs all the way to the baggage claim area 😅
•Deciding to go on a trip with a solo traveller I met in my town (shoutout to Sophie) after talking to eachother for 20 minutes ~

In general travelling by myself has taught me to trust myself/the universe and to stay flexible and curious. I can trust that if something doesn't turn out the way I invisioned it, it wasn't in alignment with me~

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Fun conversations full of laughter :D
- Sharing learnings from life
- Selfmade German food, if you let me use your kitchen (and trust my cooking skills) :D
(Apparently my potato salad is REALLY good)
