About Me

Hey everyone!
My name is Nathália, and I am from the big city of São Paulo, Brazil.I am nineteen years old, and a travel lover. I 'm very passionated about seeing new places and, mainly, meeting new people. As one of the best experiences I ever had, is Iiving in a small (but lovely) city in Southern Denmark, as a Rotary Exchange Student. right now, I'm pursing a degree at a Portuguese university! I live in this beautiful, coastal city, and have only had great experiences so far!. If I had to describe myself, I would say that I'm easy going (no doubts about it!), open minded and an extrovert. I love talking, sharing and seeing different cultures with different points of view! (That is also my main goal with Couchsurfing!)
As to what I like to do, I really like (almost) all kind of sports, specially biking and martial arts. I like to visit historical sites and also to go on walks in cities I never been to. I like to learn random words in different languges and like to have dinner at McDonald's from time to time! Haha.
But I'm up for mostly everything, and definitely open to learn any new things possible with the new people I get to meet. :) I love to meet new people and to share stories.

Sadly, I'm unable to host anyone right now as I do not live on my own - so I'm not the only one to have a say on it! But I'd love to meet surfers who happens to be at my city! So if that is the case, please send me a message :D

Best wishes!
Nathalia

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a way to get to know much more about somewhere- by meeting local people you get a chance to have a deeper understanding of the culture and of the place! So that's for sure my motivation to be joining the couchsurfing community.
For me, couchsurfing is about the chance of having a much more interesting experience :)
I also lived in three different houses during my exchange time (with host families) and we created a lovely bond. It just wouldn't be the same without them! So I could really see how important it is to get to see a place from local's point of view!
I haven't couchedsurfed as of yet, since I'm quite new (Havent used it before!) , because I never actually had a chance, but I am excited to try!

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now, my favorite song is Paris, by the Chainsmokers. I like pop music in general, but not only it. I listen to a bit of everything.
Movies - Anything with Liam Nelson. He's my favorite actor, and I'm never disappointed after watching one of his movies.
Books - Too many to list. But The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is one of my favorites, and The Book Thief too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping. Plus, my exchange year was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can always learn something new. I can teach something about the languages I speak, share stories (and I'd love to hear some too!), nice tips about the places I've been and show you how to make a great Brazilian dessert.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden
