Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I’m just opening an account in Couchsurfing for myself for the very first time, I’ve used this platform before through Cristina’s account, my journey companion and I´ve met awesome people. I think that the connection you build with the people you meet along the way is very strong and real.

I’m passionate about art, nature, the simplicity of things; I’m excited about every detail that appears in my path. I just want to meet open minded people willing to discover and share different points of view, and of course, why not, one beer or two ;)

I travel with my backpack, my hammock and very little money and I usually move around through hitchhiking. I love travelling this way since that’s the best way to be in a direct contact with people and I have to say I’ve met wonderful people doing this.

My journey companions are Cristina, my best friend and the best person you could travel with, and Ohana, my dog. She is a very small and affectionate dog. I adopted her in Ireland wile travelling and she’s been with me ever since.

For me, travelling the way I do means discovering the world in its purest state. Sometimes it’s complicated, there is no money or a place to crash at, but that has never affected me in a negative way. I’ve learnt to value both positive and negative experiences and both of them teach me loads and help me to move forward.
