I love reading, learning new things, writing letters to my friends, playing piano and watching movies :) I'm a little bit of an introvert, but I'm really talkative too when it's something I'm passionate about.

I grew up in the rainy and green south of Chile where I learnt to love nature and now that's what I'm interested the most in seeing while traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started a semester as an exchange student in Jyväskylä University since this year, and since it was my first experience going aboard I wanted to make the best out of it. I want to enjoy this traveling experience the best I can and a really important part of that is getting to know different people and cultures just by talking a little over some tea :)

Also! right now I'm travelling around europe so I won't be able to host :)

My favorites books are In Search of Lost Time, Sentimental Education, To the Lighthouse, Madame Bovary, almost all of Doestoievski's work...

For movies, Winter Sleep, Amores Perros, In the Mood for Love, Whiplash, Princess Mononoke, Little Miss Sunshine, Dardenne brothers' films and probably many more I'm forgetting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always open for good conversations and sharing our differences in cultures and daily life :) Because for me, what makes couchsurfing so great is that you get to see your own culture from the outside while sharing it with others and you also get to know the culture of the place you're visiting from the inside in a more familiar and lively way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can try and cook something from Chile but let me tell you I'm not sure I'm going to success :P I'll do my best tho. If there's a chance, I can also play some chilean folk songs in the piano.
