Overview
About Me
I'm originally from NYC and just graduated from Amherst College where I studied Math and Japanese. Now I'm in Japan completing a one-year fellowship. I have two months off starting in February, so I'll be backpacking around before coming back to Kyoto.

I'd offer to invite visitors to stay with me, but I live in a dorm and they're pretty strict (trying to sneak in a puppy in the next few months!). Can possibly host on Fridays and Saturdays. Will show you around and recommend great things if you're ever in Kyoto though.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking to meet others interested in learning about other cultures, their people, and their languages. This is what initially brought me to Japan and has led me to backpack around the world.

Anything international to keep up with language skills! Been really into Brazilian and Portuguese music recently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wanted to be a pilot when I was 12, so I was into flight simulation and made angsty YouTube videos about it. 10 years later, and one of them now has close to 1 million views: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxHl7fuscrs
