Overview
About Me
Nice to meet u. My name is Vic Zhang.
(Zhang is the largest family name in China. Zhang sounds like Chang. You could call me vic, It may be much simpler)
I'm Chinese, from Beijing. I graduated from Peking University majoring in design and economic management. I specialize in designing and building stage performance space for large-scale performances including the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. I have a cultural company in Beijing, in addition to performing, my company will also make some microfilms and advertising films.
In addition, I also have a technology company specializing in the development of the next generation of intelligent technology sanitary paper boxes, which, yes, are sanitary paper boxes in the bathroom. They are mainly used in toilets for shopping malls, parks, stations, office buildings, schools and hospitals.
I don't have much time in China, often in the United States, Japan, Korea and most Southeast Asian countries. I am a Chinese expert accredited by the United States Department of State and enjoy a special government grant from the United States Department of State. In 2018, I accepted an invitation from the United States Department of State to complete an official visit to the United States on behalf of China in politics and economy. At least I'm not a bad person in terms of character, please rest assured.
In addition to the United States, I am looking at business opportunities in Southeast Asia. I like Southeast Asia very much, very warm, especially in winter.
I have received visitors from many countries, from Asia, Europe, North America, South America. Sometimes I get a dozen applications from different software on the same day. I thought about shutting down some software to relax for a while, but I didn't. Because I want to help those who are most sincere and most in need of help. Now, we have become very good friends. They are very friendly, warm, with a bright smile on their faces, leaving a deep impression. When I travel to their own cities, I get the same care and even more consideration. No applications have yet been received from African and Oceania guests.I was expecting you.
Please mark "smile" at the beginning of the message and help me filter the information.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like this way of life: Live like a local.
If I stayed in a hotel, it would be a very boring trip.
I would be especially grateful if you would take the time to bring me some unusual experiences!
Interests
I care about people in different areas very much how they usually live and work, what they care about, what they worry about, what they study, what they hate .
I want to live and think like a local, whenever I go to a strange place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Light music, like to listen to the voice of nature, wind and rain, the sound of falling leaves. I like the works of Hollywood Chinese director ang Lee.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The summer after college, on a sunny morning, I walked in the old town hutongs in my slippers, enjoying the time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I will prepare a gift from China for you. If you have something you are particularly interested in, please tell me directly.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you still want to use the shortest time to understand the life style of Beijingers, understand how the Chinese think, what they consume, what they study, what they yearn for, what they care about, what they worry about. Maybe I'll bring you a little extra surprise.
