About Me
We heard about the Couchsurfing app through a YouTube channel ( the budgeteers) and thought it would be great to host travelers.
Im a single mother of 2 daughter's 12 and 14. We are currently homeschooling so everything we do is for educational purposes and the best way to learn is through new experiences so thats why we would love to open our home to kind and courteous people who have some time to teach something to my children!
We have a small townhouse which is located in Arundel which is about 20 min drive to Surfers Paradise. There is lots of public transport to get around.
There are so many amazing places to see on the Gold Coast and we are happy to go on adventures if we can.
I have lived in 3 states of Australia from Victoria, NSW to QLD so if you are travelling that way I might be able to share some information about some places worth visiting.
UPDATE - We have travel plans towards the end of the year. We are looking to travel to Japan and would love to meet someone who would be happy to interact with us. My eldest daughter Sierra is learning Japanese and loves the culture so meeting locals would be ideal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We would love to make life long friends from all over the world 🌎
I really want my daughter's to learn about other cultures, countries and the languages.
We have a small townhouse and we are happy to share our hospitality with you.
I want my daughter's to be kind to others and that people can be trusted if you give them the chance.
Interests
I love learning about anything and everything especially since we are homeschooling.
Gardening is something enjoy very much because it is calming.
My daughter loves art and is very good at drawing anime characters. She wants to get better and practices every day.
I have always had an interest in psychology and the way the human mind works. Especially body language, you can tell so much from body language alone.
We all love to learn about different cultures and countries. Its so unique and we appreciate learning about them.
I like learning languages but dont know many fluently. Other than English I can speak Strayan 😆, little bit of Dutch, Albanian, Turkish, Spanish and Japanese.
